      Pros

      This was my first role in the cement industry and Lafarge Holcim invested in my learning and training. I received cross-training from other departments to develop a more holistic understanding of plant operations.

      Cons

      Difficult industry with heavy workloads in a constantly outsold market. It was satisfying at the end of the week but dealing with urgent daily fires was very challenging.

      Good and interesting work culture and ethics. They look after their staff. All inclusive. Great opportunity to progress and scale up.

      Cons

      They won't sponsor your visa if you need one, not sure why. Otherwise, a decent company.
