      Pros

      Opportunity to participate in the challenge to grow in mature markets with inflationary pressures. Flat and lean organization pushes to perform with visibility at the highest levels.

      Cons

      Not the greatest magnet for investment $$ within the HONEYWELL family. It is the smallest piece of HONEYWELL pie with a large portion of its assets in high-$$ manufacturing locations of the world. Its global footprint is growing from a low base.

      Pros

      Excellent process oriented company with one of the best track records in business for acquiring and integrating businesses. International exposure is guaranteed if you want it and considered a promotion track.

      Cons

      Career path does not exist; you need to find your own way. Lots of deadwood in the organization that has been in the same job for 10+ years. There is a perception that, like the military, you have to wait your turn in line to get to the next level. Staff to operations transitions are hard in this company which is especially important when you look at where the greatest emphasis is placed in senior roles - running an organization gets the greatest rewards and responsibility.

      Pros

      Good benefits, and tuition reimbursement. I am lucky to have a manager that is willing to give me flex time for school. So I guess like many places it depends on your department. The tuition reimbursement is top notch, there is no cap. The pay is close to what the industry pays, but they will try to low ball the hell out of you when you come on. So watch out. The people I work with are competent and intelligent. The medical benefits are ok. Nothing to write home about, but you have choices and is better than most. enjoy

      Cons

      slow moving and sometimes boring. Very hard to get any information from a unit or any engineering document. I need a secretary to just handle researching parts and stuff I am working on. I am sick of working with people from india. They have a totally different mindset and they are very clicy. Can't understand half of the stuff they are talking about and they get frustrated with you for not understanding. It will not stop anytime soon, they are building a center over in china now so I am dreading the day that opens up. Some of the contractors are slackjobs and very rude.
