Slave driven company. No work life balance. Expected to take economy flights for long haul journey with bad accommodation. No good perk benefits. No working from home policy. Expected you not to take any sick leave and annual leave during 6 months probation periods. You will get frustrated to work with some leadership team who needs close supervision and no room for improvement. All decision making are not taken by local department team but IT team. Slow salary increment. Complex benchmarking on employee performance. Performance is not based on merit.

No work life balance, expected to keep working late into the night and employees are rewarded based on the perception that they are working hard (i.e. Long hours). Low number of leave days. Crazy amount of processes and meetings (at odd hours) and no formal training! Not recommended for mid-career employees who have young family and working spouse. Very regimental and top down approached. It feels like the army where the regular career soldiers are represented by the staff from PRC and the reservist represented by the local staff. The career soldier will work very hard because their next posting depends on it and the locals really treat this as part of work/life and while they are serious about their work, they can never compete with the career soldiers because they have family commitments.
