Pros

1. Better pay package as compared to other companies .

Cons

Seriously speaking I donot feel any Pros about huawei except Money . 1. Here Customer comes first and employees second . 2. Your optimisation in work is considered as Short cuts . 3. They believe in working like dogs , irrespective of your health and personal emotions . 4. Good for only freshers , because they can work day and night without any liability . 5. Contractors are treated like slaves . 6. this is worst place for Married females and people who are coming from distance . 7. Morning 9:30 times makes you feel as if you are working in jail . 8. Though you are entitled for 2.5 leaves a month , but if you avail leaves in succession due to some emergency , your rating will degrade . 9. People on higher management are not technically competent about project , they are the ones who follow same old routine method which includes long working hours . 10. You will be promoted only if you have potential to work for 12-13 hrs each day . 11. I have seen several incidents where in employees were forced to cancel there leaves / trips and have to rush to office in between , even if there is not much emergency and when issues can be resolved over phone also . 12. Have seen people down with fever also coming to office , they donot understand that this may cause other people also sick due to infection . 13. Lot of pressure , part of which is real while part of that is created by panic of higher management . They will ask for status every 2-3 hours . 14. Agile sucks , with less time and lots of procedures , approvals and documentaton . 15. would suggest people if you are keen about your family to join Huawei , you can join only if you are ready to spend a minimum of 10 - 11 hrs each day in the office . 10 hrs is considered as miniimum working hours , though official working hours are 8:30 - 5:30 and core working hours are 9:30 to 4:30 .

Pros

Huawei is a phenomenon, and has become a force to be reckoned with in Telecommunications software. In the past years it is trying to break into the western telecoms market, and has been successful up to a point. One of the best reasons to work for Huawei is the opportunity to work in a completely different culture, a huge company and utter chaos.

Cons

Huawei as a company is in fact 2 companies: there is the company you'll be hired into, and then there is the Chinese company where the real decisions are made, where the real information is and where people have a career and therefore a reason to work for the company...

Pros

1. Pays 20% more than the market but x2 to x3 for the workload. 2. Progressing a lot but getting scoldings and discomfort. 3. Lots of opportunities but you never know is there any headcounts in your desired team. 4. If you are in a team lots of Malaysia then ok, but probably still got politics 5. Make huge fortune if you get sent to work at very poor countries like Bangladesh. 6. Company will continue to make huge money.

Cons

Just use the Red Note(小红书)app to figure out, most of them are facts. Huawei will keep making money. In my view, it’s because they’re extremely good at squeezing employees. Their hiring strategy turns everyone’s work into standardized, replaceable cogs in a machine. If someone leaves, they just swap in another person—there’s always someone willing to take the job. Huawei is perfect for those who come from poor backgrounds, are buried in mortgage debt, or need to prove themselves at any cost, even at the expense of their self-respect. But if your family can support your basic needs and you just want a stable career with steady progress, this is not the place for you. 1. OT without getting paid. 2.The performance evaluation is awful—it's entirely based on your supervisor's subjective judgment. Many times, they give you a low rating for ridiculous reasons, making it impossible for you to get promoted or a raise. 3. Year End Bonus is paid in April to June by the next year. 4. Shifting from customer-centric to Boss-centric. 5. Lots of lots of PUA/Gaslighting. 6. Employee meal costs RM42(Lunch/Dinner) for locals 7. Endless Useless Meeting 8. One to couple years contracts only even you are Huawei Employee, No permanent contract.
