Pros

Good learning environment. Flexible work hours.

Cons

Culture is very white & American centric. White saviour mentality when working on global majority. Unchecked problematic behaviour among leadership. Lack of clarity on salaries and benefits. Low pay, long work hours. Lack of structures means that your growth or experience is dependent on your relationship with your manager, your manager’s interests and your manager’s access to power. HR seems powerless.

Pros

Excellent mission, collegial environment, staff possess serious expertise and creates real global impact

Cons

Management in transition for 2+ years. Lack of innovative or strategic leaders. Management can be fear based, short-sighted, clinging to outdated models of management/leadership.
