Pros

Worthy cause, great co-workers and excellent benefits plan. Support staff have a strong union.

Cons

Experience varies wildly depending on department and office location. Upward mobility is tough, especially for those not in the HQ. Much of the upper-level staff has been around since before the org saw rapid growth and tends to stick to outdated management practices.
