Thank you for taking time to write a review. IBI Group takes pride in fostering a friendly and collaborative work environment that is made up of talented individuals. We are sorry to hear that at times you felt overworked as we truly try to provide work-life balance and flexibility to all our employees despite the deadline driven industry we operate and especially throughout this COVID-19 pandemic. Hard work should never go unnoticed and we appreciate all the dedication our employees show us. Taking paid time-off is a right of all of our full-time employees and we encourage you to use the time that is afforded to you every year. If you feel like you are not having an opportunity to take time off for yourself or that you are not being compensated fairly for the overtime hours that you work, we invite you to contact your local Human Resources Business Partner to share your concerns.

Pros

*Great IT Team in Toronto *Toronto will train and help out as much as possible *Great IT management *Vacation time is better than most places *Good job to use as "stepping stone

Cons

*Low pay for System Admin job, more like 1st level support *You will be alone, only IT person in the office, can get boring real easy *IT is treated like 2nd class in an Engineer-filled office *Southfield Office went from 100+ to 50 in less than a year, be prepared for possible layoff *As I said above, the job is more like 1st level support. Day to day you will be resetting passwords and unlocking accounts mostly. *IT Management told me I was 1st level support after I tried to get a raise, yet the local manager said I was the IT Manager and I did IT Manager-related jobs, confusing. *No career plan for IT at all when I was there. Want a promotion? Move to Toronto *Remember, this is an engineering firm, IT is not their top priority and you will see this first hand.
