Pros

Strong team relationships and great friendships

Cons

The CS department is not like the rest of the organization. You have to log out for bathroom breaks, snacks, lunch, etc. Your manager will ping you if you’re even 1 minute over on lunch. You will also get a ping if you’re in the bathroom for more than 5 minutes. Management is tone-deaf and regularly talks about how nice WFH is since they have more time with their families midday, while CS Specialists are getting berated on the phones back to back. Management desperately needs training on goal setting, psych safety, and avoiding burnout. Truly a horrific work environment. Not worth the significantly below industry average pay.

Pros

Pre-Covid, Indeed was amazing with so much going on in the offices. When remote started, they threw money at you to setup your home office, which is great, however the life at Indeed became much less exciting.

Cons

A lot of focus on targets that can't be impacted by Client Success A massive focus on Diversity and Inclusion, which is really good, however all communication from senior leadership was around this topic, and very rarely around the business.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re disappointed to hear that you feel this way. Your wellbeing is extremely important to us, and we do not want anyone to feel marginalized at Indeed. We understand that everyone's circumstances are different. Our Open PTO is intended to be used by everyone, especially when you need time off to care for your loved ones. We also have a Parents and Caregivers Inclusion Resource Group (IRG) that supports and engages a diverse community of parents and caregivers at Indeed. This group was formed to aim at removing biases, barriers at the workplace and creating a safe and inclusive environment where managers and colleagues acknowledge, understand their challenges and support them. We encourage all employees who are seeking support, or who want to share their experiences as a parent or caregiver to be part of this group. Thanks again for sharing your feedback with us.
