Thank you for sharing your Indeed experience with us. We are very disappointed that you felt discriminated against based on your gender. Our company goal is to promote and create and inclusive environment globally. We are always willing to learn what we could do better and different to enhance the employee experience and increase diversity at all levels. It would be helpful if you could email inside@indeed.com to have further discussions on your experience at Indeed and share with us your perspectives of how we can improve our work environment.

Pros

Nice place. Good salary. Work satisfaction. Nice college.

Cons

No dining room like Google does. And the free lunch could be improved.

What I've learned in a year at Indeed

Pros

This is an extremely fast growing company with aggressive global hiring goals. That means you're going to work hard and be rewarded for it. Regular communication from senior leadership is helpful, with quarterly announcements and Q&A. We really are spoiled (in a good way) in the Austin office, and employees seem to be treated well with perks in other offices. You can't beat our mission, to help people get jobs. There is a plethora of Indeed t-shirts that you collect over time and I wear them often on the weekends. Almost every time I go out, I hear from at least one person who got a job using Indeed, which is a great feeling.

Cons

There's so much growth that it's hard to keep track of the new people, systems and processes. Many different internal systems and programs are confusing. That also means that communication is tougher and there's a lot of it from leadership, HR and facilities. The "Indeed 15" as in pounds, is real. So much good food, that I *should* be using the onsite gym.
