Pros

Offers a great chance for personal growth. The goal of the organization is to have top notch data and analysis, and the training and infrastructure of the organization are very well organized to deliver this. A great opportunity to do work that you can be proud of.

Cons

While the upper management and program organization during a period of growth is doing great, the mid-management outside of New Haven isn't. The capacity for data collection and analysis is great, but not for employee safety or satisfaction. While it is a very respected organization among those who know it, its not well known outside of its branch of academia.

Pros

time flexibility, huge independence, important people and professors behind, good probabilities to keep working with IPA and JPAL in the future, strong quantitative and qualitative research methods, life experience, extremely useful for a career in the field of research (PhD), easy to meet the right people in the office and outside

Cons

the remuneration covers the basic need, if you work in the field you must be very independent to overcome the lack of instructions and attention from HQ and central country office.

Pros

You get to see deep inside the RCT world. That can be a good thing and a bad thing.

Cons

Zero work-life balance. Everyone's so busy that not always worried about quality of interview work, etc.
