Pros

Great international experience and exposure. Growth can be good but likely to be VERY slow

Cons

THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES. They will burn you out, underpay you, and make you disposable. The leadership team, or “SMT,” is disturbing and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth about the international development sector. It’s an organization run by classist researchers who are nearly all westerners with degrees from elite universities and who have no idea how to run a complex multinational NGO across 20+ offices. I would enjoy working there more if SMT wasn’t so disappointing and reckless.

Pros

okay salary \ vibrant colleagues

Cons

People Officer, Regional Director, Operations Director, IT Director, HR Director, 2 HR Managers, Security Manager either fired or asked to leave, all in the past year, commonality is they are all black. All other blacks work extra hard to be outstanding, never meet the standards of mediocre white colleagues.. If you are black, don't join. If you are white, join.. mediocrity getting you promoted quickly to chief leadership levels. financial mismanagement and finance department incompetence, running out of funds to pay salaries.
