Pros

Personally absolutely love this org. I started as an intern years ago and moved on to full-time (both in NYC). I think MOST of the employees truly care about what they are doing. You will always find Karens so whatever. They make it suck but what can you do.

Cons

Field offices are incredibly overworked, understaffed, underpaid, and stressed.

Pros

smart, passionate colleagues. powerful history, mission and resources, oddly enough, i would recommend this to a friend - with a cautionary not to thoroughly research your manager before coming on board. some here are phenomenal, some are not.

Cons

it's very disorganized and overly ambitious. they have bitten off more than they can chew. makes for too many unfinished projects, wasted efforts and resources.
