Pros

Good benefits and some of the people were wonderful to work with

Cons

dysfunctional and toxic organizational culture at IRC in Georgia Florida; disengaged executive leadership and management in Atlanta who don't understand the realities on the ground in Tallahassee; IRC's ethics investigations, which are meant to uphold integrity, in practice are used for political maneuvers; senior leadership lacks respect for program staff and their voices; senior leadership's disregard for how organizational dysfunction negatively impacts client outcomes

Pros

I loved working there. The people were wonderful, enthusiastic and so driven. They truly inspired me to think of a career beyond my self-made limitations. I trusted everyone there.

Cons

Again, I loved everyone there but holy smokes were they overworked. I was a program assistant and doing the job of five people. I love being versatile but it was a lot. I loved my boss but they were constantly stressed and getting squished under the mountain of tasks.
