Pros

Excellent commitment to work life balance. Excellent benefits and paid sick/vacation.

Cons

Staff in resettlement fields tend to burn out quickly due to high workload demand and very little pay. Pay in Seattle at the IRC is still below Geographical pay scale for many, especially those who have been with the IRC for a while.

Pros

IRC has multiple systems for providing staff feedback, and lots of policies that safeguard the workspace, making it one where innovation and creativity can thrive, and hostilities are decisively dealt with. There is room for career advancement within the organization.

Cons

Remuneration may not be as competitive as it used to be though.
