critical analysis of leadership

Pros

As others have said, the people are what make IRC so great. Meaning the colleagues and most managers. There is a level of true care among the IRC staff, whilst doing remarkable work, that I have not experienced before.

Cons

Complete and utter incompetence from leadership. The very privileged white faces at the top of the chart represent fabulous travel and fiscal irresponsibleness. Do they rely on outside, extremely expensive consulting firms too much? I would say so. It is tragic watching the top 1% run this organization recklessly, even before the new administration.

Pros

Great organizational culture, very flexible and great benefits

Cons

Hard to move up in such a large organization. Expect raises to be cents to a dollar. In my experience, you must apply for something you're overqualified to be considered
