Pros

Strongly mission-focused & good technical programming. Great at raising funds for the mission.

Cons

Excessively bureaucratic to a demoralizing level where feeding the system means more than accomplishing the mission. Internal politics & who you know is more important than your track record of delivery.

Pros

Leader in industry with strong global presence. Large organization with with well established systems and policies. It is a learning organization that offers a great place for new staff to gain experience in the field. Country based staff have good support from HQ.

Cons

The organization is very HQ driven and new initiatives/ policies don't always reflect the reality or current priorities on the ground in counties.
