Pros
I have been working with the IRC for almost 3 years. During this time I was able to move up and be entrusted with additional responsibilities. As an organization, IRC works hard to have a impact on clients and support them during emergency and early recovery contexts.
Cons
Leadership is clearly behind in terms of D&I. Despite significant drive and engagement from staff, not much has changed in the past few years (meaning still overly white and Western) - and it shows in various aspects of IRC's work.
