I learned a lot from my teammates as well as from the customers. I had the opportunity to work with taxpayers from almost every state.

Cons

Work hours are flexible, but challenging if you have a full-time job elsewhere.

Pros

Working from home, always have new projects to work on, and bonus opportunities to make additional income or earn spot awards. Also, promotion from within is constantly going on with opportunities announced all the time to the current team. Lots of training to improve tax skillsets.

Cons

Emphasis on surveys and metrics is often out of the control of the tax associate. Need more time to complete training.
