Pros

Always pushing the boundaries of what's new and innovative. Extremely bright colleagues. Great benefits.

Cons

Too many re-organizations and marketing-driven decisions. The tax experts who keep the consumer tax division going get no respect. Upper management does not seem to understand how taxes work.

Pros

The company has really done well under Brad Smith's leadership. It has a clear, focused corporate strategy, encourages and enables innovation across the board, has competitive compensation and great benefits, encourages internal mobility, and overall treats employees well.

Cons

Technical managers are overworked. Release schedules are aggressive and projects are chronically understaffed. Managing upwards is critical for managers and can be a distraction.
