Pros

CEO committed to accelerating growth thru adept re-sizing of key functions and groups, investment in growth projects, transformation of web initiatives and new emphasis on sales in addtion to core strengths in marketing and engineering.

Cons

Over emphasis on business unit focus leads to significant over investment in duplicative and non-world-class back office and other non-value adding infrastructure vs. demand generation and world-class talent.

Pros

Work/life balance, strong benefits and fair compensation, the people, consistently strong business results, strong leadership position in current and new businesses

Cons

Sometimes not focused enough on outcomes, offices could use some updating, a lot of change that not everyone across the company seems ready for

Pros

Opportunity to stretch into new roles outside of "resume" expertise (also a downside here) Compensation Leadership capabilty on my my team in particular... cohesive, collaborative, challenging Really smart people (a con for the furture see below) Strong pockets of humility that still nurture the voice of the customer

Cons

Real rsk of losing the great talent we have in the future through a delicate change effort Stretch roles don't always materialize into careeer growth which can lead to burn out Insufficient focus or communication of focus or perhaps clarity (not sure the root cause here) in a time of necessary change We sometimes appear to suffer from the opposite of Not invented here... all the best and brightest ideas and people seem to now come from outside the company
