Pros

Top-Notch Creatives, Hard to Get Fired The amazingly curated visuals Mailchimp has in its branding over time is so beautiful and inspiring that I honestly overlooked the otherwise clunky parts of the app's code. It's a place where you can learn a LOT! Engineers are so gracious and IMO work BEST when they know they are teaching others. Everyone wants to help help help (slight sarcasm).

Cons

Old Code, Hard to Get Fired, Intuit disrespect in denying deserved benefits/pay equity/stock options If you are not a typical corporate drone you may have issues in fitting in, especially now that the quirky and weird are all long gone, dancing merrily in new companies far and wide (also getting better pay and benefits to boot!)

Pros

1. Lots of freebies and low value trinkets

Cons

Maintenance or low value work like report generation etc or vaporware in India . Any project that shows traction gets pulled to US or Israel. Mediocre to poor Engineering leadership, India org is expected to be yesmen . Extreme politics , survival impossible without toeing some or other faction. Talent is actively discouraged . Past couple of years have seen huge attrition of key talent , they are filling it up converting contractors from low grade services companies to FTE . At the current market rate , pay levels are 50% of any other companies in bangalore right now.

company perks and generous time off policy

Cons

toxic culture, poor management, lack of vision. top down dictatorship aiming at short term political gains rather than long term capability building. echo chamber. many talents driven out either through layoff or out of disappointment
