Conveniently located; decent pay and benefits; a lot of time off.

Cons

The Peter principle is an observation that in an organizational hierarchy, every employee will rise or get promoted to his or her level of incompetence. Executives say 'if you see something, say something' but they don't really mean it. If you don't have a good manager, you have no hope of succeeding at the company and there aren't many 'good' managers. A lot of favoritism.

Can make a six figure income in a prime location, occasionally some nice employee deals on vehicles

Cons

Veteran sales people get "fed" by the management, F&I will take money out of salesman's deal so they can sell their own product and make money.

Pros

Its a really exciting business as it is growing very quickly globally which can provide good career opportunities. There is a lot of financial investment happening across the business.

Cons

Some of the leadership behaviour I see is questionable and there are a lot of people who have been in the business a long time which isn't always a good thing. A change of culture is needed from the top down as this needs to be backed by the board but question whether it is at present?
