Big, but hollow

Pros

Due to it's size, their buying power is excellent. They also have deep pockets to make up for mistakes. The rank-and-file are mostly good people.

Cons

JCI is the worst run business I have ever had the displeasure of working for. Gross inefficiencies and a top-down management approach plage the organization. One hand rarely knows what the other is doing, and they compete with one another. Don't be fooled by it's posted core values; there is a terrible corporate culture.

Pros

Nothing best to work here.

Cons

No career growth opportunities. You’ll get stuck here. No matter how long have you been here. Worst management which keep on changing and impacting growth of employees. They only talk about diversity, not working on it, female employees are not getting opportunity to shape their careers and ruining mental health where HR just coming to discuss no action from HR as well. Anytime they can ask you to do any kind of work no matter at what position you’re by saying ‘being part of the company you have to contribute’. So much politics & mental harassment.

Embarrassing Mess

Pros

- Good colleagues. - Good pay and benefits.

Cons

- Bad leadership at all levels. - Unrealistic expectations for employees. - Poor training for new employees. - Company hires employees as remote, then mandates 3 days/week in office. - Instability. JCI overhires, then lays off tons of employees, making little to no effort to retain good employees. - Lays people off, then fails to process some terminations properly - resulting in many issues like delays of benefits.
