Pros

Good prestigious company. Great for your resume.

Cons

Terrible leadership (borderline incompetent). Boys club trying to desperately change this perception through laughably sponsoring sportswomen - these sponsorships don't quite change up the diversity at the top. No concern for well being of staff.

Pros

Restaurants are great, HQ is overall a cool place to work. Canary Wharf is a lovely place so it's not too bad from that perspective.

Cons

I worked in a small service line dedicated to digital transformation within the FS sector. The leadership team is terrible. Lots of backstabbing going around and very incompetent people when it comes to winning any actual new business. Their proposals seem like something out of a 1990's bad sales playbook, making it nearly impossible to win RFPs. I wish I never moved from industry to this particular service line, as the onboarding was lousy, particularly given the complete lack of support given to those who have worked in consulting before. Based on my experience, I do not recommend AT ALL for anyone to join them.

Pros

Working for KPMG looks great on resumes. KPMG company leadership values employees and offers many perks from vacation to discounts on cars & electronics.

Cons

Senior Leadership in Strategic Sourcing and Procurement shows lack of respect for employees and is condescending to staff in meetings. KPMG is known for alternate work arrangements which is not granted to staff. Different rules apply to different people. Leadership has showed "everyone is disposible" by firing 20% of staff and hiring Contractors with the same titles the SAME day. Staff keep boxes under their desks in anticipation of being "let go." Work load is unevenly distributed. Ideas and concerns voiced by staff are not entertained nor addressed. No common direction or communication when it comes to advising business teams. Department is heavily micromanaged.
