Pros

1. Projects in the global corridors are really good and clients are very respectful and mindful of personal time and work life balance 2. You'll get to know jargons and fancy words to impress people 3. Giving Work from home, not enforcing work from office

Cons

1. Now where do I start, this is not a place for a techie, they expect you to work on business proposals and forget about technical work, they would flatter you with that vision of growth but that is far from reality. 2. The leadership is rude and everyone talks like they are a CEO. 3. If you are not doing presentations and preparing slides (which eventually get rejected), then you are not considered worthy 4. If you are bench for long, they will force you into resignation. 5 They charge clients an absolute premium which is why client interviews are extremely difficult and you generally end up getting rejected. 6. You are not allowed to take leaves as it will cause revenue loss if you are in project and also you will be asked to charge extra hours to the client, if not then you will be asked to do extra work outside your project work 7. Lot of pre-sales work is assigned in the name of "growth" and "consulting" which a technical person might not understand or like. 8. Don't join their lighthouse division 9. They don't have much business in terms of projects and revenue, which I don't see changing in the future as well.

Pros

Fast interview process and good pay (in theory, more below)

Cons

KPMG has deferred start dates for 2023 grads numerous times and provided 0 transparency throughout the process. I was offered and signed in Fall 2022 with a "Summer/Fall 2023" start date. After signing a lease and moving in to an apartment across the country I was informed in May 2023 that the date had been pushed back to 2024. I hung onto hope and got a new job to fill the gap and pay rent. It is now 2024 and the advisory hires that were supposed to start in January have now been pushed back once again to SEPTEMBER 2024, with less than three weeks' notice.

Pros

Policies - Leave Policies are quite good 22 Annual Leaves 12 (10+2 Flexi) Public Holidays etc. 5 Medical Leave- can be extended based on condition etc. Overall you do have options to get WLB (given your project/manager let you make use of any)

Cons

1. 100s of unnecessary training it looks like the mail box is spammed with traning. 2. My personal experience is that there is a culture of favourtism rather than your actual performance. no matter how skilled your are it's like if you don't have visibility enough in the organization by doing org. work, going on dinners parties etc. like interacting with people higher ups to make yourself visible across the practice. you won't get promotions and benifits same as some chattu/skilled with words person.(that's also an art I get it and may be that's what needed to grow in corporate at one point in time but please do recognised and appreciate people with real skills) 3. like any other consultancy/service based company. billing mil rahi hai toh we don't care employee needs just give him some lollipop and chill. (from point 2-3 it all depends on under whom you work)
