Worst company I've ever worked at

Pros

Supports remote work but with penalties.

Cons

KP does NOT care about work life balance. There have been times I have worked over 60 hours a week and when I needed to take time off for a family emergency, it was denied. They expect you to do the work of 5 people with the pay of less than one. I have worked here 10 years and instead of getting raises based on my performance which my manager says is exceptional, I get a pay cut. Managers push their work off on their employees. What are they there for? They do not discipline employees that do not do their work, they just push it on the person who does the most work. I'm expected to work over 40 hours a week because I am salary, but told not to report anything over 40. I've had to cancel PTO because of being shorthanded. The IT department is the worst. They don't fix problems, they just ignore it. Most of our applications break daily. But we are scolded if we don't get our work done even if the tools we have are broken.

Pros

-Customer Service Reps still 100% remote -Competitive Pay -Awesome Benefits -Health Coverage from Day 1

Cons

-Need better trainers -Constantly micromanaged (they can view your screen/activity at any given time without warning) -A lot of info to retain if you have no previous background in health insurance or medical admin -Very petty attendance points system -Strict training schedule (90 days) and attendance policy

Pros

Benefits, pay is competitive, coworker rapport

Cons

Insurer and medical provider in one house- generally you will be scheduled to work 36 hours of face to face patient care. Outside of the 36 hours, you will have hours and hours of “in box” or remote care which is poorly accounted for with work hours. Management positions and not stable and change is common. Panel size ebbs and flows per the pleasure of the insurance wing of the company. Hours- offices are open 7-7 mon to fri and sat 8-12. I would expect full saturdays soon. Vacation planning during federal holidays is challenging. Expect to work Christmas Eve and the Friday (possibly Saturday too) after thanksgiving.
