      Co-workers are great, very competent

      Cons

      Management is a disaster. No strategic plan. Four weeks of unplanned shutdowns last year and looking st the same this year. Constant pressure for you to take vacation but work through vacation.

      Payscale and benefit package is pretty. Mostly a good bunch of people too.

      Cons

      Overworked and underappreciated. High stress environment because management let's the customers run the place.

      Pros

      No reason to work for MKS anymore after acquisition of Newport Corp. Company recently, for instance, hired a new manager . He is not educated in the field but he likes his position. Another words teacher doesn't know the subject.

      Cons

      Bad management with very poor technical knowledge.
