-Increases happen once a year and tend to be below the industry average. Not only that but because promotions are so rare - your salary tends to stagnate (net decrease even due to inflation and higher taxes) even though your workload increases.
-Only real way to grow is to move between teams or move to a new company and go back to MSCI.
-Local office is full of internal politics because only a select few executives makes decisions for the entire region. Due to this, there's alot of "looking good" done for higher ups (hiding problems etc).
-Will tend to hire outsider instead of considering internal promotions.
-Reimbursement process is terrible.
-Supports work-from-home schemes but does not pay for electricity nor compensates employees in any reasonable way. Local office heads discourage such discussion hence the problem persists.
