Pros

Good benefits, a bit above average wage, high standard office, smart and dedicated colleges.

Cons

Agressive cost cutting gets rid of knowledge without replacement for it, older 10+years employees fired, they can not be adequately replaced by newcomers. Slightly sexist attitude in promotion, know many female colleges standing in place since year well deserving promotion.

Pros

Well known brand, nice working environment, flexible working hours, good balance of life and work. Desirable benefits, particular fit to the staff has younger children.

Cons

Not much space to grow and develop. If u r not in the core team with supportive manager, u r basically invisible, particular for those manager and staff are not in the same location. You may never get chance to meet your teammates/ manager for yrs. unpredictable change sometimes.

Pros

MSCI is a lifestyle firm that offers a collegiate environment. Employees are hard-working but also enjoy benefits such as company-sponsored sports, events and other perks that make the workplace a good one. Work-life balance is also good.

Cons

Unfortunately, MSCI is hobbled with layers upon layers of management. The structure is very top-heavy and shareholder-focused. As a result, the firm has lost some of its edge, particularly in terms of the client experience. The research focus has shifted gears, becoming more of a model machine rather than a client-facing enhancement which offers a superior product. Thus, smaller more nimble competitors are able to offer more with less resources and gain market share.
