Pros

Working for Marriott allows you unlimited possibilities if you are willing to move. The training structure available is awesome. Communication within the hotel flows pretty free. Depending on what area you are in, whether it is sales, or operations, the days can be long and hard to adjust to.

Cons

If you aren't willing to move, then the opportunities shrink immensely. Sometimes the expectations are set too high, based on demand of the city. It would be better if the owners were present more often within the hotel. Most Marriott properties are not owned by Marriott, but are a franchise ownership.
