Pros

Medical benefits are good Time off is also good work/life balance is good

Cons

If you are looking for good training, its not going to happen here. In order to advance, its all about who you know. Job security is very slim. Ever since the Spitzer thing, the Marsh name is not the same. The morale is terrible. No Bonus or raises in the last couple of years

Pros

Vacation time is great, medical/dental/vision benefits are pretty good, ability to work from home when necessary, and expense account for rare occassions.

Cons

Marsh does not value young talent nor diversity. There are no diversity initiatives, little to know mentorship by senior level management. This is a company that runs on "who you know" and "familial ties". It's hard to get ahead based on the merit of your work. There is little to no incentive to continue to do a "great job". I would not suggest Marsh as a place to work; especially for entry level people.

Pros

Flexible hours, good coworkers in the trench.

Cons

Lot of people with feeling of entitlement for now particular good reason. Poor selection of managers based on broking ability instead of management ability.
