Not as good as it seems

Pros

Good benefits. Most of the people are nice. They make you feel welcome and appreciated until you're discarded like trash.

Cons

They seem to exercise the "at will" employment part of the contract frequently and are ruthless with the firing. Maybe this wasn't always the case but it seems to be now. Management doesn't know how to deliver critical feedback. They will blow smoke up your behind telling you that you're doing a great job. It seems that the first time you will hear negative feedback is the day they fire you for it. Your coworkers might take month long vacations leaving you to support the whole team and show their gratitude for covering for them by stabbing you in the back. Your coworkers may refuse to have meetings and then it's your responsibility to bridge the gap for noncooperative people. It "seems" like a great place to work but it's all lies.

Pros

Great benefits, like health insurance, Ben funds, mental health support services, educational stipend for buyin books, course, attending confenrences

Cons

offsite was cancelled in 2023 and no budget for team building events. Though we are told it should be changing this year
