Pros

Easy job, nice coworkers, friendly enviorment. Pay is not good; however, the customers can sometimes be fun and entertaining. It is close to home so I do not have to drive very far. Somtimes my boss even picks me up if the weather is bad or something. I am able to eat free food and or get discountsw for my friends and family members. They will encourage you to go to the McDonalds school that they offer. It teaches you about manager opportunities. I do not want to be a manager but I think the classes are okay and good for some that would be interested.

Cons

The biggest downside is the pay.; It is hard to pay my bills with little pay, They only pay minimum wage and it is not very nice to pay such a low wage. Not a lot of room for advancement, you do not need a college opportunity to work for mcdonalds; however, it is preetty much a dead end job. You won't end up being an important part of the company as you spend a lot of time learning about hamburgers instead of advancing your career and moving forward. It somtimes really isnt worth it, but it is easy work, so the pay and advancement opportunites shoulod be expected gto be high.

Pros

You know what you are getting into. It's minimum wage and they don't sugarcoat that. You get discounts on the food so if you're a fan, then you're in good shape. If you get assigned to a good location, then cleanliness is less of an issue.

Cons

Most of the customers are rude and demeaning towards the employees. The bathrooms at older McDonald's can get really disgusting. You feel oily and grimy after working a shift there. Your manager can sometimes be a total buffoon. Working the late shift is a real drag. Your coworkers may not be the sharpest tools in the shed.
