      Pros

      People are desperate to get into FAANG and interview process was grueling giving a reassurance of my value on the market

      Cons

      Salary for the role was not competent to PM or EM roles at the same level. No WLB!!!

      Pros

      Honestly, one of the most open and transparent companies I've ever worked for. The degree to which employees are respected and trusted is fantastic. It's a shame that some take advantage of this and feed a very distorted narrative. The company is full of good people trying their best to do good work to keep people safe and make the internet a more respectful place.

      Cons

      The only real con is the psychological effect of having our work castigated and criticised by media and politicians who have zero grasp of nuance and use the company as a smokescreen to distract attention from their own failures or inaction.

      Great pay and great benefits, teamwork atmosphere.

      Cons

      Marketing at Facebook in general is 10 years behind the curve. We don't have reliable marketing automation tools and functionality so your ability to be strategic, creative, and drive massive impact is hindered. For example, we don't have the ability to send real-time emails based upon advertiser browsing behavior or engagement, we don't do lead scoring, and we have zero insight into what comms our audience is receiving from any given marketing team at Facebook. Promotion is very challenging as well because we have very bottom heavy with IC's and very heavy on the director level. It's sad to say but I have been at Facebook 3+ years and have seen little to no change in the way we do marketing.
