If you stay here for too long, expect to be underpaid. So it's good to get in for 1 or 2 years and just leave as you could have zero pay increment and bad bonus even with a stellar performance appraisal (support / back office).

Most bureaucratic company I've worked for. Extremely frustrating how long it takes to get many things done. Systems are outdated. Departments are concerned about defending their territory and doing their narrow view. Proactively working together and making things efficient is not part of the culture, Protecting your turf is. Morgan Stanley puts on a show about caring about giving back and company employee engagement. However its either being poorly executed or is not being done with honest intentions (feels like a check mark box). There is a vibe that they want you do charity work to boost the hours that they can put on display. But you never hear about the stories, You don't have senior management coming down/zoom sharing what they did or their experience. All you get a flimsy email for head of HR about the amazing work the company did with computer auto signature.
