Unbelievably dysfunctional work culture in Corporate Services sector. Things move at snail’s pace because it takes 25 people to make every decision. If a senior manage (who is removed from day to day) makes any comment on something, even if it is off the cuff or unofficial, years worth of work can be tossed aside or redone. The political climate is difficult. It’s not exactly cutthroat or mean-spirited, but everyone wants to take credit for the very few things that move forward or gain traction, so you have competing interests, lack of cohesion, etc.
