      Stable employment (so far at least)

      Benefits are Illinois Centric. 2019 health plans have changed. No HMO options. Seems as though the new healthcare is similar to ACA plans. Cost more,cover less. No information available to fully investigate. With all the acquisitions, incentives are minimal (if at all existent)-no pay increases! Constant management changes and restructuring-implies too top heavy of a management structure. Creates excessive confusion which increases employee concerns about job stability. Excessive outsourcing of company structural issues. HR & benefits, certain IT functions, etc.

      Pros

      The work-life balance is great. You'll have the opportunity to work on other things related to your job title, this can keep you learning and things interesting.

      Cons

      Not as competitive or "sexy" as some of the other companies. The upper management(VPs) can sometimes seem to not care a whole lot about you (although it's hard to find a company that does). The management takes a long time to listen to the opinions/suggestions of their engineers.
