Pros

1. Flexibility of working hours(sometimes depends on manager) 2. Work from home option (very good for ladies) 3. Most of the managers(barring a few) have technical background, so its easier to express the issues and roadblocks. 4. If you really want to learn, you will learn a lot of things. 5. No team leads to boss over you. Scrum masters are only restricted to facilitate team members and nothing more or less. 6. Easy to route between different different business lines - core platforms, LTE, small cells, femto, Operations & Management.you name it 7. Open for innovative ideas 8. Food and transport is very reasonable compared to other companies in Bangalore. 9. Offers 7:30pm cabs for those who stay late. 10. Checks on women employees who leave office late until they acknowledge they reached home.

Cons

1. Company has gone through lot of reorganizing from Nokia Siemens Networks to Nokia Solutions and Networks to Nokia Networks to now Nokia. So frequent reshuffling was common in 2013-1014 2. Due to losses incurred, perks were removed in 2012-2014, but now again its all looking good. 3. Weekend work needed sometimes during critical releases. 4. They are experimenting a lot with processes so some frequent changes in process could be a bit disappointing for employees.

Business Outlook

Pros

Good salary,Enough flexibility and freedom to learn

Cons

Be a butter chapp to your boss, otherwise he may feel bad about your behaviour.Even If you complaints to senior mgmt against your line managers in appropriate / communal behaviour, they won't listen. They will advise you to either look in another business line or look outside "Just because he's a manager ". Can't say about all... but there are bastards, beware! Most importantly they can harm you in your probation period as they are the one's who have to say yes/no to continue your career in Nokia...Strange but TRUE :)
