      OYO is a sinking ship! Worst job I've ever had!

      Pros

      The only pro would be the decent pay, and the fact that the managers do not know what they are doing so you are free to do whatever you want.

      Cons

      There are too many cons to list. If you work as a BDM, you are essentially just going hotel to hotel randomly and trying to catch the owner. Majority of owner's are not interested in OYO, and have already been visited by inexperienced reps. The management at OYO offer zero help or assistance. The company claims to be tech focused, but everyone still uses google sheets and a free low-budget CRM system. On top of that, they use WhatsApp for internal communication. No one uses email. Nothing makes OYO different than the competing hotels in this space.

      Tinder date lasts longer than Career in Oyo

      Good short term money gain

      Cons

      You get double-digit offer but you'll hardly survive for a year. It's a contractual employment you see. They hire you promising a good package. People from well-known companies with better designation downgrade themselves for the salary hike that Oyo gives. And they get trapped. Oyo uses you like anything, and when they see you are exhausted they fire you. Read the title of my review again. No sarcasm intended.
