Pros

Zero Managerial pressure. Tech team bears a 'Messiah' tag and walk around with fixing bugs n features all day. Highest level of Engineering and coding standards. Lots of learning opportunity. Amazing Perks and salary reviews.

Cons

Too much of work pressure. No Saturdays offs. No work-life balance.

Pros

There really aren't any "Pros". It's all one big scam. You might be fortunate enough to meet some good/innocent people but those aren't the ones OYO want.

Cons

Everything. Incompetent management (which starts at the top). Lies, lies, and more lies. They lie to hotel owners, they lie to their investors, they lie to the sales staff, they probably even lie to their own mothers. There is no pricing algorithm. It's a bunch of guys sitting in a sweatshop trying to figure out what prices should be on hotel rooms on the other side of the planet (or a few thousand miles away). Management wants you to sell their big lie, but there is no technology, no value proposition, and no support for the hotel owners that sign on. OYO will just lower the rates by 15-20% below market rate and then take their cut. Hotel owners will always lose out and the business development people get to deal with the owner's wrath. They will also find every reason to not pay your commission, even when you've earned it. Avoid this company at all costs. You don't want to be on the Titanic. Bernie Madoff looked good in comparison to Ritesh Agarwal.

Pros

Great pay, beautiful office space, opportunities to grow in different verticals. US management and local team members were a dedicated bunch of awesome people I had the great pleasure of working with.

Cons

This company hired some of the most talented people in the country for leadership roles in the U.S. most of which had ZERO experience in hospitality. This was intentional. Upper management from overseas wanted to control the direction and narrative while disregarding the few leaders with experience that knew what needed to be done. They figured hiring Harvard and Stanford Graduates would compensate for lack of experience. Unfortunately it didn't. Once a decision was rolled out it took approximately 24 hours before the company would decide to move in another direction. Talk about a waste of time and money! AGMs and I&E heads truly cared about their owners and while the corporate teams wanted to support them in every way possible, upper management had different goals for each department which often conflicted in doing what's best for their owners. This company had absolutely no idea of what they were getting into by expanding to the US and quite frankly still don't know what they're doing. Do your self a favor and stay far, far, away!
