Pros
- excellent work-life balance - learning curve depends on the team but still is good (i personally had a good learning curve atleast 2+ years) - brilliant access to study sources and trainings like linkedin learning, o'reilly safari books and other on-site training.
Cons
- technologies and frameworks used are mostly homegrown (or super expensive licencing) which very few other companies use. So the experience gained in those frameworks dont directly come handy while trying to switch jobs and careers. - few products have outdated coding practices and hence not a pleasant experience if put in such teams.
