Pros

Within the Latin America region, Oracle is one of the tech companies to offer highest salaries to IT workers. Oracle is a huge company with hundreds of products and teams which means there are lots of opportunity to learn and grow but it is a "do it your own" company so you gotta be very self-driven.

Cons

Constant change of org structure Very aggressive quotas and lots of pressure on the Architects from its own managers and, worse, from the Sales Reps.

Pros

Healthcare, parking, good people - although less and less every day. Good work life balance paid for by terrible salary.

Cons

In pre-sales / sales consulting the management is going out of its way to ensure you are miserable, underpaid and are teaching the off-shore teams how to do your job. This isn't even in the 'digital' business but in the 'field' business too. There are no annual pay increases to offset inflation. You are unlikely to get a pay rise in the first 5 years with the company. The only way to get a pay rise is to bring an offer from the competitor, at which point you might as well just go. There is no career progress. Everything told to you during the interview process is a lie.

very veryy good self train opportunity. lovely people. good clients. processes extremely clear. good reputation of the company when you go to other clients for projects.

Cons

they clearly, when I say they I mean upper management, do not promote success. Very business oriented and only care about sales.
