Pros

Descent family work life balance. Great gym and food cafe. Flexibilty in remotely working. Overall business strategy for the company is excellent in absorbing smaller companies and increasing revenue.

Cons

Salary not competitive. No career growth. Too Large and organization with large layers of management chain. Sometimes looks endless. management sometimes too lax dependent on where you are. Lot of cross team politics.

Pros

Can do innovative work in certain groups. Some amazing talent still works at Oracle. Some product groups are at the leading edge of technology.

Cons

Fast degenerating into a bureaucracy. Politics rules, competence is much discounted. Resembles the worst of IBM and CA at times. Management for the most part is a blend of willful ignorance and blissful incompetence. The more one sucks up the higher they progress. Is more like a retirement community where the salary is your retiral benefit.
