Pros

Being a large corporation, there's always the ability to transfer to an out-of-state location if needed.

Cons

It has a huge beauracracy. Things move at a snail's pace as compared to other companies I've been employed at. Each small group assumes that their particular "process" is what is used throughout Oracle. Yet, if you ask 25 different teams on what to do, you'll get 25 different answers. Very centralized decision making. Little, to no, power given to lower level management, hence everyone waits for one of the top few executives to decide on something, even on the most meaningless of changes or opportunities. This results in very little "ownership" of one's job or work effort.

Pros

Stable environment. Smart co-workers. Generally able to balance work & life. Good if you are in an engineering or sales or core product development role.

Cons

Hard to feel fulfilled, feel like you are part of a giant machine. Not a great place for pure marketing career.

Pros

You have a job at least. you can work from home, insurance is pretty good, keep your head down and don't complain, and they won't bother you

Cons

Pay really sucks, as does management; really, no real managment, just covering their you know whats. Now in the recession, they want to 'Lift' employees, and asking for ways to save money, but after years of no raises or bonuses, no one will speak on Calls. They have to bribie employees to ask questions on conf.calls now, after all the questions were about Raises, and they refused to answer those kinds of questions
