Pros

Oracle Tag !!! (Better to join other product development teams of Oracle)

Cons

Never ending list of cons : 1. Official timings: 9:00AM to 5.30PM and holiday on Saturday. Never ever expect this is going to happen in this team ever. 2. Developer duty : You are expected to stick on the desk itself 24x7 and never expect anything in return. 3. Saturdays : All Saturdays are working days only without prior notice/information. Sometimes it is expected to work on Sundays as well. Don't expect any salary or Comp-Offs for working on Saturdays/Sundays. 4. Work-Life balance : You have to sacrifice your life for the work. And never expect anything in return. 5. Team Leads Job : Boss/Team Lead is expected to be Arrogant and Abusive (expected to use fowl language) and should always pressurize the developer till he/she leaves the company. 5.1 Track and bring the resource to work at the desk to get more work done. (Literally stick the resource with his/her desk) 5.2 Work from home should be considered as resource is partying at home. 5.3 Send the resource back home if he/she comes late. 5.4 Pressurize the developers always to get more work done. 6. Team Leads Imagination : Leads will imagine that developers will waste time for having lunch/snacks/washroom/chi-chats etc. So track their amount of time spent on their desk and create a scene of "Resource is not working up-to full potential" and take this as an issue to higher management. 7. Deadlines : Complete the work quickly to get more work. Also every five day work expected in one day. 8. Appraisal : Its a biggest joke. Hard working resources will get the highest hike percentage. Which is 10%. Management will delay announcing the hikes year by year and you will end up getting 5-6% hike a year on average only if you are very hard working in nature. Management will not even hesitate to give 0% hike for average hard working freshers. 9. HR Management : Micromanagement and stand in support of Managers. If a resource files a harassment complaint against any manager then also no action will be taken. 10 Talent : Its a foolishness to have here. Good Talent will never be appreciated. Eventually most of the talented people had already left/leaving soon. You can join this if you are willing to : 1. Sacrifice your life at the desk itself 2. Not expect any hike every year 3. Not worry about the fowl language used 4. Motivate yourself from the manager abusing you in-front of all others If you are a fool then this is the place for you to join to enjoy bad quality work without expecting money/growth.
