Pros

Its a nice place to work with good challenges. It all depend upon the product that you join. Work, growth, learning opportunities are purely depedent upon the group/product that you join in

Cons

Pace is bit slow. As a big company, it has lot of of formalities before start of any project

Pros

The upper management has good vision and doesn't hesitate to adopt to the market trend. Work environment has good family. If you are willing your way up, there are plenty of places for you to grow. Don't expect to do your job and get rewarded automatically. Make your work noticed by the management. I have cordial relationship with my management and well respected by others in the team.

Cons

Engineering process is not well adopted to agile principles. Still too tight with too many processes. Need to adopt flexible latest trends. It is ridiculous that you have to send it all the way up the food chain to purchases small and that too take incredibly long time.

Pros

My immediate team is awesome, my current manager is awesome and the awesomeness stops there.

Cons

Upper management lacks vision and strategy, and it appears they are more interested in acquiring customers via acquisition than in real product research and development. As it stands providing value to their customers is an afterthought. Larry Elision has tuned out and all management does now is buy companies, stitch together Frankensteins and pitch it as Brad Pitt. It's pretty painful to watch all these two bit VPs sink this company with acquisition of crappy companies with crappy product then turn around and try to sell it to customers.
