Great benefits including medical, vision dental all top notch. Also as a java developer we had direct access to the Oracle Java Team. Our input went directly into the product and if wee needed something for the business it was a priority.

Cons

Well, they bought out my previous company, Taleo and let most of us go. So there is that. As a large company you get large company bureaucracy. Certainly not the worse I have come across.

Company is doing well. Benefits are great. Salary is competitive in most cases.

Cons

If you are not in a development group in the core Oracle business or happen to be one of the group result from acquisition, the management may not be very good. I had a personal experience of working in the Oracle VM group and the management was a complete disaster. In my previous group in the core database development, it was fantastic.
