Pros

Oracle cares about its employees but I guess each team is different. In general, good benefits, good work-life balance, latest design transformation is a useful experience.

Cons

Not very good at rising salary and aligning it with the market. After covid, we lost a lot of benefits including travel and office benefits, parties, lunches, etc. and they were never replaced.

Great learning environment, encouragement to pursue your own career growth, learning resources such as LinkedIn Learning and other site, amazing offices, nice people, nice vacation package, nice stock options package, good Work From Home package. Good flexible working schedule as long as you deliver on your responsibilities. They really care about being diverse, inclusive, sustainable, and ethic in every way when it comes to employees and making you feel comfortable.

Cons

Very unorganised teams. Very technical product which is very difficult to understand, and the resources they offer for this aren't great since they're too technical. It would be better if they took the time to explain the product and its areas in a simple, user-friendly way.

If you are lucky to have a good manager you can manage your own schedule and work hours. Good enviroment within the company.

Cons

There are NO filters when it comes to hiring managers. So if you ran out of luck you can end up with a "boss" with zero skills for leadership. Worst of all, even if you report this to HR, you would likely not have a resolution. Also, salary increments are almost non existent, are really rare things and you should ask a very good money BEFORE joining so you can go 3 to 5 years without a raise. It's crazy.
