Too TOXIC

Pros

When area manager is on holiday, its the best time to get on with your job.

Cons

Its become such a TOXIC place to work from top to bottom. Gone are the days when colleagues actually look after each other and care, its more of a dog eat dog organisation now. Middle management is in a real state, with dozens of key people who understood the values and principles of Oxfam have gone, they are left with line managers who only care about ticking boxes than the welfare of there teams. Unite Union left a massive stench after there quest to put Oxfam through strikes, its divided the organisation and put colleagues against each other, so you seem to have to pick sides, certain volunteer reps made sure of that, they are like little soldiers deployed to infiltrate. Unite have no concept of values, and cares more about its membership levels, They actually did not deliver much of deal anyway, so it was all for very little for the colleagues.
