Pros

Oxfam's mission and vision at the global level are very sound

Cons

Oxfam is a great organization with a vision for a society in which everyone is equal. However, the management does not leave much to be desired. They do not do anything to motivate the staff. The few initiatives taken by some as team building are never encouraged. The former manager knew absolutely nothing and was not involved in his work at all. Obtaining even the most mundane things such as pay slips or work certificates is an uphill battle as an Oxfam employee in Mali. Once you leave, you go for months without being able to receive your severance pay.
